Scot performs jazz piano for any event that could use live music, which of course is any event. It could be opening for someone at a concert hall, or cocktail music for a 50th birthday party, or music to reflect on at funerals. The Scot Ranney Trio
The Scot Ranney Trio is often joined by Travis Ranney on sax, and is the perfect band for parties, concerts, and swing dances. For dancing we play for all ages, sometimes playing for college swing dance parties and sometimes playing for retirement home people with equal success.Chico's Paradise
Chico's is Scot's funky rock jazz band. You might not recognize all the music we play because we play a lot of originals, but you can't help but want to dance to this mixture of jazz, rock, reggae and other styles. Chico's Paradise is the house band at Mt. Baker Ski Area.
